Leah is a Communication/Journalism major with a concentration in Electronic Media. A sophomore at Ship, she is heavily involved with WSYC as General Manager. Leah is also a member of the Shippensburg University Marching Band and the band service fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi. “I love being apart of WSYC because I get to do my own show and have the freedom to play music I love.”

Dr. Carlin is a professor in the Department of Communication/Journalism. He has been WSYC's advisor since 2009 and was the C/J Department chairperson from 2000-2009 and in 2017. Dr. Carlin's areas of research include the new communication technologies of digital audio and video, media programming, and media literacy. "Working with the staff of WSYC is one of the very best parts of my job. Having started my career as a radio DJ in Ohio, I see the same energy and excitement here at WSYC today. It's such a great place for our students to connect people to music, sports, and the community around us."
Jake is a sophomore Communications/Journalism major with an emphasis in Electronic Media, and the current sports director at WSYC. In addition, he also serves as a play by play and color commentator for WSYC Sports. He is a lifelong Orioles fan and hopes to continue to work in professional baseball in some capacity, in either broadcasting or scouting. Jake is also a brother of the Phi Delta Theta Pennsylvania Omicron chapter at Shippensburg.
Jenna Holtzman is a junior Communications and Journalism major at Shippensburg University. Jenna is currently emphasizing in Print Media, but is looking to switch over to possibly Electronic Media. She loves to write and discover new things, and sees herself as a very adventurous person. Jenna is very excited to be our Program Director this year. She is also holding the archivist position for the S.A.F.E club.
Public Relations/News Director
Bill Rollin is the Public Relations Director for WSYC. He is a Sophomore, Communications & Journalism Major, with a dual emphasis in Public Relations and Electronic Media as well as a Business Minor. Bill was a Mid-Atlantic Student Emmy award winner in high school for his work with live sports broadcasting. While being involved with WSYC, Bill is also one of the play-by-play announcers for WSYC Sports. He is a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha-Phi Tau Zeta chapter at Shippensburg, and is also an RA in Lackhove Hall. Back home near Philadelphia, Bill is also a volunteer firefighter with the Nottingham Fire Department in Bensalem Twp. Bucks County.
Dan is a sophomore Business Management student and upcoming RA at Shippensburg University. He has been with WSYC since the start of his college career and is the current Business Director for the station. Dan enjoys outdoor activities and Coca-Cola. His older brother Bill is the Human Resources Director for WYSC, Danny can be seen always wearing a Hawaiian Shirt, emphasizing the motto- “It’s always 5 o’clock somewhere!”

William is a junior biology secondary education major! He is actively involved in the biology department, as well as the Gaming Club. William says, “I enjoy the flexibility, creative freedom, and family atmosphere of WSYC.”

He is a senior, human communication major! Chayce loves being outdoors, attending concerts, checking out local breweries and listening to all sorts of music! “My favorite aspect of being a member of WSYC is that I am consumed by all the music that we have in our library”
